My life as an army wife!

Ok so those of you who don't know yet we recieved our orders FINALLY!!! I was tired of all my friends getting their orders and leaving me. Don't get me wrong I love it here! It is so beautiful and the weather is so perfect.... NO ICY ROADS!!!! I am really really going to miss it here. I love the people I have met here . It was so great living in a military community so everyone around us knew what it was like going through the same things we were going through.... long long hours of husband studying, early PT, class all day, see them for dinner and gone again for study hall. We know the hard times of DLI and the good times we have had here. We went from Korean where I literally never saw Jason because the teachers told him if he got more then 4 hours of sleep he was sleeping too much and not studying enough. Then onto 5 months of casual status of not knowing what was going to happen with us to waiting around for a new class. we had some fun times with traveling to Washington and Alaska during that time but then we had to come back to class. I was worried I would be raising my kids by myself again like I did the first 7 months. Jason started French in July and life has been easier. The teachers are nicer and don't require 20 hours of homework and studying. I at least get to see my husband for 4 hours out of the day which is way better then before. I had been bugging Jason and bugging Jason about our orders and when were we going to get them. Finally 2 weeks ago he went into the office and asked them. they said sure enough its right here. They pulled out Jason Barfuss' folder with his orders. we were going to go to aberdeen training grounds in Maryland as a 35N. wait that can't be right we are 35P not 35N. they checked into it and asked if he was Sergent Jason Barfuss? UMMMM I wish:) but no there is a Sergent Carl Barfuss that teaches in Korean here at the base. They messed up the names not paying attention to ranks or first names. MADE ME MAD!!!!!! They said Jason didn't exist in their computers and he would have to check back in a week. GRRRR..... Jason went back in last Wednesday and asked if it was taken care of and they had it fixed. We had our orders. NOT ABERDEEN!!! yay! we are headed to Wiesbaden, Germany. I didn't believe Jason at first. I know I had been praying to go to Germany and felt like we were going to Germany but it was just unreal, felt like a dream when he said it. But it was real!!!! I can't wait. I have talked to 3 ladies here that were stationed in Germany and they have told me everything and showed me pictures. now I am even more excited to get out there. I am just worried about a place to live. but I know Heavenly Father will provide a way and a place. Hope you enjoyed my story of our life this past 18 months. But that is the life of an Army wife:)

my brother went from Monterey to Wiesbaden, he is living in Hohenfels right now. how ironic would it have been if you had actually ended up going there?
