No pictures right now but I thought I should update since it has been two weeks since I posted anything. First of all it has been two weeks since we dropped Jason off at the airport. I'm glad time is going fast. Jonathan and I miss him so much. I recieved a 2 min phone call from him last sunday so he can give me his address... I'm glad he did because the letters were piling up. I also got an email from him that evening. I guess his branch lets the soldiers email their family once a week and we can email them back if we want and they print it off and give the soldier the letter before sacrament. Its kinda like that dear elder thing the MTC does. I think its kinda cool and nice of them to do that. Jason meet two guys the first few days that are in his Unit that are members. One just joined the church 2 months ago and the other one served a mission. I am glad he has some member friends out there. He misses us so much but he knows he is where he is suppose to be. He just can't wait to get this part out of the way and the beginning of AIT so he can move in with us (With a new addition of course)
We are now in Utah as of thursday and we have been spending time with grandma and grandpa grant, grandma Den Boer, Uncle grant, Aunt Kristin, and cousin Lucas. the first day was hard on Jonathan because he didn't remember anyone here. but he is now warming up to everyone and seems to be doing much better. We just stay busy busy busy and the days just fly by. we are already down 2 weeks and have only 7 more to go. I hope I am able to get a phone call from Jason tomorrow. That would help me a lot just to hear his voice. I am very proud of Jason. He is an amazing man. I am glad I am married to this man for all time and all eternity.
D&C 121:7-8 "...Peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment;" "and then if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high and thou shalt triumph over all they foes."
John 14: 18, 26-27 "I will not leave you comfortless;I will come to you." "But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my mane, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your rememberance, whatsoever I have said unto you." " Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not a the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
All we can do is trust in the Lord and he will help us through these times. I love you all and I am glad you are out there supporting us and helping us through. Thanks!
